 What's New for the 2024 Lexus ES?

The 2024 Lexus ES is a midsize luxury sedan that is available with both gas and hybrid engines. The ES is a popular model in the middle of its seventh generation, and Lexus has introduced several improvements over the last model year. The ES350 and the ES300h are now available with two F Sport versions. These are the carryover F Sport and the new F Sport Handling. The F Sport Handling adds Custom and Sport+ driving modes. It also comes with aluminum pedals, aluminum cabin trim, adaptive dampers, and park assist. Another exciting update is a new wheel design for the Luxury and Ultra Luxury trims. These are 18-inch alloy wheels that now have a Vapor Chrome color.

Other than these updates, the 2024 ES is unchanged. Its distinctive style is defined by a tapered front-end design, a sleek profile, and a pair of angled accent bars on the sides. The front-end styling features a cinched, hourglass-type grille that runs from top to bottom. The pointed LED headlights and the arched air vents trend inward to highlight the grille's shape. Select trims have a sunroof, keyless entry, power-folding side mirrors, and a rear spoiler.

The 2024 Lexus ES's gas powertrains are a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder, 203-horsepower unit and a 3.2-liter, V6, 302-horsepower system. These engines come with an eight-speed auto transmission. There is also a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder hybrid engine available. It generates 215 horsepower and links to a continuously variable auto transmission.

If you opt for the ES's base trim level, you can take advantage of features like a 10-speaker audio system, synthetic leather upholstery, an 8-inch touch display screen, wireless connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a keyless ignition, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot warning, lane departure mitigation, forward collision mitigation, and a few additional features. With optional packages or a higher trim level, you can also take advantage of front and rear parking sensors, driver's memory settings, heated seats, a wireless smartphone charger, leather upholstery, wood trim, power sunshades, a heated steering wheel, sport front seats, a head-up display, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, and several others.
