Lease End Options
When you return your leased model to us, you’ll have three different ways to proceed. The most common outcome for our drivers is that they renew their lease, either in the newest release of their current model or in one that can suit their lifestyle a bit better. For example, if your family is adding a new member, you may want to move from a subcompact SUV to a midsize option to have more room for equipment to take to Diane Main Park. In some cases, drivers either want to keep the model or realize that it’s in their best interest to purchase the vehicle to avoid penalties, so they work with our Finance Department to make that happen. Some people return the leased car and don’t renew the contract because they’re either moving from our area or have found a different means of transportation. We’ll help you determine which path is right for your situation!
Inspection Process
As your lease comes to its conclusion, it needs to be inspected to make sure it’s ready to rejoin our stock of pre-owned models. You’ll bring the car to our Service Department, and our staff will check several facets of it, starting with the odometer reading. If you stayed within your mileage limit during your travels on Route 34, you’ll face no penalties. Next, we’ll examine the exterior of the car, looking for damages that exceed typical wear and tear that’s expected of driving in the city. We’ll also inspect the interior to make sure it’s in good condition and that the Lexus has everything that was sent out with it. That includes the Owner’s Manual and the spare tire kit. This process doesn’t take very long in most cases, and we tend to be lenient to keep stress levels low during the inspection.
