Serving Westmont, IL
The Lexus NX is the entry-level crossover SUV in the automaker's lineup, and this two-row model has extensive appeal. It is a compact crossover with gas, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid engines. In 2025, the NX will benefit from a few thoughtful improvements in the cabin and on the exterior. What are the differences between the 2024 NX and the 2025 version?
Performance
Behind the wheel, the 2024 and 2025 NX perform comparably across their trim levels. The NX 250 has a 203-horsepower, inline-four, 2.5-liter engine. This trim level is the only option with front-wheel drive. The NX 350 boasts a turbo 2.4-liter engine that delivers 275 horsepower. A hybrid version of the 2.5-liter engine is in the NX 350h, producing 240 horsepower. There is also a plug-in hybrid NX 450h+ that has two electric motors and a 2.5-liter engine. It makes 304 horsepower and has an all-electric range of 37 miles. The higher NX trim levels have standard all-wheel drive.
Appearance
A few minor changes to the 2025 NX's exterior add to your ownership experience. These include the new Copper Crest paint, a power liftgate, and rain-sensing wipers. The NX's exterior is otherwise unchanged and exhibits upscale athleticism from end to end. This low-profile vehicle has prominent curves through the profile and tall door panels. The front is designed with triangular headlights featuring three circular bulbs and a slanted LED bar. This bar angles inward to highlight the grille's A-frame design. The bold mesh pattern has a radiating quality. Additional exterior features offered for both model years include a panoramic glass roof, up to 20-inch wheels, adaptive headlights, and a few other items.
Features
Inside, the 2025 NX Luxury has a Macadamia color option for the first time. New features include intuitive parking assistance, auto braking, more USB-C ports, and a wireless charger. Other features are available in both model years and include heated front and rear seats, leather upholstery, sport seats, a head-up display, a surround-view camera, a heated steering wheel, a digital key, intersection collision mitigation, emergency steering assistance, a push-button ignition, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Mark Levinson premium sound system with 17 speakers, a cloud-based navigation system, a 14-inch touch display screen, a blind-spot alert, adaptive cruise control, adjustable ambient lighting, driver's memory controls, and several other desired features.
