In 2026, the TX will be available in your choice of gas and hybrid powertrains. After learning what the Lexus TX and the Lexus TX Hybrid offer, which SUV will stand out to you as a better option for your needs?

Performance

The gas-powered Lexus TX is the TX 350. This is the entry-level trim for 2026, producing 275 horsepower from its turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The system features an eight-speed automatic transmission and is available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drivetrains.

The first of the two Lexus TX Hybrid models is the TX 500h F Sport Performance. It is outfitted with two electric motors and a four-cylinder turbo engine. This is a 366-horsepower system with standard all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission. The top TX model is the plug-in hybrid TX 550h+. Under the hood, this TX has two electric motors and a V6 engine. The system gives you 404 horsepower and offers a 33-mile range on all-electric power. The powertrain pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

Appearance

With the exception of the plug-in charging port on the TX 550h+, the trim levels are comparably designed. This large SUV boasts broad dimensions with sleekly sculpted sides and an impactful front end. A tall, A-frame grille dominates the nose. Above the grille, a chrome accent bar links the headlights. The headlights have a powerful look with a bolt-like bar of LED lighting running across their top. Below the headlights, air inlets conform to the grille's shape and have small fog lamps. Some of the exterior features available are a panoramic glass roof, up to 22-inch wheels, black accents, and a hands-free power liftgate.

Features

The TX and TX Hybrid share many of the same optional and standard features. Some of these are a 360-degree camera, second-row captain's chairs, a digital key, a digital rear mirror, a head-up display, intersection collision avoidance, a 12.3-inch display screen, lane centering assistance, lane keeping assistance, heated front seats, a blind-spot warning system, a tri-zone auto climate management system, a wireless phone charger, wireless connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless hotspot, and several additional features.
